Page Content Jurong Island is linked to mainland Singapore via a 2.3 km long Jurong Island Road Link. Officially opened in 2000, this dual 4-lane carriageway has resulted in greater convenience for employees, workers and visitors to Jurong Island. All who seek entry into Jurong Island are required to undergo security screening at the Jurong Island Checkpoint. Only authorised personnel and authorised visitors will be allowed entry.
