The development strategy for IFP taps on the critical mass of the existing furniture companies in the estate to seed the presence of IFP. IFP targets business activities relating to setting up of corporate HQs, furniture design, prototyping, warehousing, distributing, manufacturing as well as assembly and showrooms. By clustering furniture manufacturers, traders, and related services, the IFP aims to enhance operational efficiencies that will promote cost-savings for industry players and act as a catalyst for innovation through competition and collaboration.

The 38-ha dedicated zone is located at the heart of Sungei Kadut Industrial Estate; bounded by Sungei Kadut Drive, Sungei Kadut Street 3, MRT viaduct and the Pang Sua Canal.
