Launch of JTC Innovation Fund

JTC has launched its innovation fund to external parties such as institutions of higher learning, private and public sector organisations in Singapore to seed cutting-edge ideas to intensify land use and create new industrial space for industries.

The focus of JTC's first Request for Proposal will be on:
- clustering of relevant industries for increased synergies
- reducing land use for infrastructure, transport networks, buffer zones and other facilities
- mitigating issues relating to high-rise industrial operations, e.g. goods handling, vibration and urban heat.

If you have an innovative project which can address the above issues and has the potential to produce impactful and tangible results, we will provide funding of up to S$1 million per project.  More details can be found here.

Closing date for submission of your proposal is 18 May 2010.

Introduction of Paperless Season Parking in JTC-Managed Car Parks

We are pleased to inform you that JTC has introduced a paperless season parking system in JTC-managed car parks from 1 January 2010. With the introduction of the paperless season parking, we hope to bring added convenience to you as there is no need to replace the paper disc each time the season parking is renewed. 

With the paperless system, we will do away with visual inspection of the paper disc to ascertain if vehicles have valid season parking.   Electronic handheld terminals will be used to verify the validity. 

You can continue to purchase for season parking online via Krypton or submit the hardcopy application form together with the cheque payment by post. Application forms can be downloaded from our website at www.jtc.gov.sg.
