The 50-ha CleanTech Park pushes the boundaries of green sustainability by serving as a large-scale integrated "living laboratory" for test-bedding and demonstration of system-level clean technology solutions and products for the tropics – before they are commercialised for the market.
Our Strategic Location
Close proximity to environment and water research expertise from the Nanyang Technological University, as well as the industrialists from matured manufacturing hubs in Jurong and Tuas such as the Jurong Industrial Estate, allows tenants at CleanTech Park to create synergies and collaborations that push for innovation and downstream manufacturing of their products.
CleanTech Park is also closely located to several shopping and food centres, schools, sports stadiums, residential estates, and recreational facilities.
Easy access to the CleanTech Park is available via train stations, such as Boon Lay and Pioneer MRT stations. Shuttle bus services are also available to transport employees to and from Pioneer MRT station.
Convenience In A Natural Setting
With people as the top consideration in our design strategy, convenient facilities and amenities are also incorporated into the CleanTech Park. They include green walkways flowing seamlessly right through the park to create a pleasant environment for walking or cycling; a spacious cafeteria offering a wide variety of F&B; and Sky Gardens that provide the much-needed breath of fresh air for the tenants.
The Central Green Core
CleanTech Park's Central Green Core is the first Singapore development to achieve the Building and Construction Authority (BCA)-NParks' Green Mark Platinum award in the New Parks category. Weaving throughout the Park, this 5-ha green landscape will remain home to the 164 wildlife species currently living here, while providing a conducive environment for continual habitation.
JTC has preserved much of the natural terrain to maintain the local biodiversity of the area. Natural Wildlife Corridors are designed into the structures to preserve the rich biodiversity of rare fauna, such as the native Sunda Pangolin.
CleanTech One
CleanTech One is the gateway into the Business Park and a practical demonstration of sustainability applied to every day life. Innovative features of CleanTech One include the Sky Trellis, LED lighting, and Solar Panels.
JTC aims to build communities within these developments. After all, these buildings are meant for companies and their employees. Hence, the clustering of like-minded eco-friendly companies will not only fuel business growth, but also build a community of eco-conscious people that care for and sustain the ecosystem of the CleanTech Park.
