: Phase Z.Ro Technopreneur Park, one-north's first out of the box development for technology start-ups, is launched.
: JTC corporatises its port and technical services group to form Jurong Port Pte Ltd and Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd respectively. Its subsidiary, Arcasia Land, merges with the international operations arm of JTC International to form Ascendas Pte Ltd.

: The Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS) - Singapore's first logistics park for third party logistics players (3PLs) - is officially launched to provide 3PLs quick turnaround and value-added logistics activities.
: JTC begins corporatisation exercise to make it leaner and give its subsidiaries greater autonomy to provide even better customer service.
: Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong officially opens JTC's new 32-storey headquarters, The JTC Summit.
: Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong officially opens Jurong Island.
: The Singapore Government appoints JTC to develop one-north - a creative research hub where talents, entrepreneurs, scientists and researchers would congregate and exchange ideas.
: The 2.3-km Jurong Island road link is officially opened - providing added convenience and cost savings for customers on Jurong Island.

: JTC launches Singapore's largest District Cooling System (DCS) in Changi Business Park to help its customers save costs and maximise land usage.
: JTC launches its first Technopreneur Centre at Ayer Rajah to support young start-up companies.

: Customer Service for the 21st Century initiative is launched to galvanise JTC to go the extra mile - to provide excellent customer service.
: JTC launches its S$4 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) programme - Singapore's largest MTN programme. Its first bond issue of S$300 million was oversubscribed.
1997
: SHiFT (Scheme for Housing of Foreign Talents) is launched to provide affordable rental housing for foreign talents working in Singapore.
: JTC launches the Industrial Land Plan for the 21st Century (IP21) to intensify usage of industrial land under its charge. It also launches new innovative space saving products such as 'stack up' factories and 'ramp up factories'.
1995
: Reclamation works start at Jurong Island. The Jurong Island project involves the amalgamation of seven offshore islands to create a world class chemicals hub for the petroleum, petrochemical and chemicals industries.
: Development of wafer fabrication parks begin. The first wafer fab site is located at Woodlands.

: JTC launches a 3-storey standard factory - an innovative product that maximises land use.
1993
: JTC's regionalisation thrust takes on a new dimension as it seizes opportunities to share its expertise in industrial township development with partners in Indonesia and China.
1992
: Groundbreaking takes place at the International Business Park -Singapore's first business park to integrate commercial and office components with industrial facilities under one roof.
1984
: JTC ventures abroad to develop and manage the Chiwan Petroleum Supply Base in Shenzhen, China - JTC's first regionalisation effort.
1981
: Development of the Singapore Science Park begins.
1980
: JTC draws up a 10-year masterplan for the 1980s. It makes provisions for a Science Park to bring Singapore to the frontline of research and development.
1977
: Land preparation on Pulau Ayer Merbau is completed for the first petrochemical complex which is part of today's Jurong Island.
1975
: Jurong Town Hall, JTC's first office to house all staff under one roof, is officially opened by Mr Hon Sui Sen, then Singapore's Finance Minister.
1968
: JTC is formally incorporated on 1 June 1968.
