JTC DIVESTS FIRST DCS TO KEPPEL INTEGRATED ENGINEERING

Singapore, 25 November 2009: SLI Holdings Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JTC Corporation (JTC), has divested its subsidiary First DCS Pte Ltd (FDCS) to Keppel Integrated Engineering Limited. Set up in 1998, FDCS develops, manages and operates district cooling systems in a number of industrial and business park developments in Singapore.

2   The divestment of FDCS is part of JTC’s overall divestment exercise to enable the Corporation to better focus on being a strategic industrial infrastructure provider to support Singapore’s economic growth. It is also in line with the Government’s intent to divest functions which the private sector is capable of and is currently providing.

3   The sale of FDCS is expected to be completed by 3 December 2009.
