Step-by-Step Guide to Applying for Electrical Supply
STEP 1
You must appoint a Licensed Electrical Worker, who is registered with the Energy Market Authority (EMA) to design, supervise, install and maintain the electrical installations in your premises.
STEP 2
Your appointed Licensed Electrical Worker must submit the following documents to JTC's Facilities Management Section, as we need to ensure that there is no overloading of the total building power supply. Your application will be forwarded to Power Supply for processing.

One set of application form duly completed.

Two copies of the electrical single-line diagram for the proposed electrical installation. The single-line diagram must show full details of the proposed method of connection between your switchboard to JTC’s mains.

Two copies of the electrical layout plans showing the position of the machinery, the power and lighting points, the exit signs, the exit lighting and other electrical equipment. Exit signs and exit lighting installation must comply with the fire authority’s requirements. Motors or machinery using more than 30 horsepower must be shown in the layout plan.

One copy of the SPSL CS/3 form.
