Step-by-Step Guide to Renewal of Lease

Obtain a Lease Renewal Kit

| STEP 2 |
Use the Self Evaluation Checklist
Go through the Self-Evaluation Checklist. You are encouraged to consult your Service Officer on the lease renewal guidelines and discuss the details of your building plans and investment proposals before you submit your application.

| STEP 3 |
Complete the Application Forms
You must complete the following application form (item 1) and provide all the supporting documents and plans (items 2 to 5) to JTC before your application can be processed:
- Lease Renewal Application Form
- Land Intensification Assessment (for land use only)
- Process Flow Chart with Plant and Machinery details
- An updated copy of the Registry of Companies and Businesses printout of your company (business profile extract)
- Existing and proposed site layout plans, artist impression, perspective drawings of new buildings (if any).
- Latest Annual Report or audited accounts.

| STEP 4 |
Submit the Lease Renewal Application Form together with supporting documents to JTC
Please submit the duly completed application forms and supporting documents or plans listed above together with the following clearance forms, if required.

Central Building Plan Unit (CBPU) Clearance Form if you intend to extend or change your use and/or if you intend to build structures which emit smoke or vapour such as boilers, chimneys, kilns and furnaces.

| STEP 5 |
Receive acknowledgement of your application
You will be sent an acknowledgement letter once JTC receives your application. Please call us at 1800-568 7000 if you have any questions or if you do not receive your acknowledgement letter.

Assessing your application
JTC will assess your proposed investments and business plans for the future lease term. Part of the assessment will include a visit to your premises to gain a better understanding of your company's operations and business plans. |
