International Business Park

International Business Park pioneered the business park concept in Singapore when it was established in 1992. Since then, it has matured into a vibrant magnet for knowledge-based activities. Companies that wish to establish a presence at IBP can lease land to custom-build their facilities.

Some of the companies located in IBP include Acer Computer, Creative Technologies, M+W Zander and Mobile One as well as both the German Centre for Industry and Trade and the Nordic European Centre, which function as incubators for European start-ups.

To date, 100% of land in IBP has been leased.  The Atrium, an amenity centre at the heart of IBP caters to the needs of workers with convenience stores and recreational facilities.

Land

Under its Land Allocation scheme, JTC allocates land for a tenure of 30 years, with an optional extension for another 30 years. Lessee companies are free to construct their facilities on the land allocated to them and they have a choice of opting for a revisable land rental scheme or an Upfront Premium scheme.

Under its 3rd Party Build & Lease Scheme, JTC leases land to third parties to develop customised facilities to fit the needs of specific industry sectors.
