To increase energy and water efficiency in our operations, design features such as urban greenery and blackwater recycling facilities are incorporated from the outset to insulate against heat, thus reducing cooling needs, as well as cut waste water generated. 6D Building Information Modelling is also used when laying out developments to ensure subsequent facilities management can be executed efficiently. Our facilities management partners are also encouraged to adopt sustainable practices through the use of a Green Bonus Scheme. New solutions are simultaneously sought from external stakeholders through Open Innovation Calls, with our estates serving as living labs and test-beds. Throughout, integrated estates and building management systems help monitor, analyse, and optimise operations, increasing resource efficiency.
