Overview
Punggol Digital District (PDD) is a 50ha business park that is targeted at key growth industries of the digital economy, such as cybersecurity, machine learning, IoT and smart city solutions.
The district is closely integrated with the Singapore Institute of Technology to enable opportunities for cross-collaboration between industry and academia.
As a strategic national project, PDD is a showcase for smart nation initiatives. It is designed to create an experiential environment catered to the creative, young and digitally savvy population. The district's Open Digital Platform optimises energy management and serves as a living lab for smart solutions. The district is expected to bring approximately 28,000 jobs closer to residents in Punggol and the northeast region.
Concept and Price Tender (CPT) for hotel / serviced residence at Tower 98, Punggol Digital District
JTC is launching a Concept and Price Tender for the development of a hotel/serviced residence at Tower 98, located within the Punggol Digital District (PDD). This project aims to enhance PDD’s vision as a dynamic live, learn, work, and play estate by providing flexible accommodation options tailored for both short- and long-term stays of professionals. Tenderers are encouraged to propose innovative, smart, and sustainable hospitality solutions, with a willingness to testbed innovative technologies that align with PDD positioning as a smart district. Additionally, to support PDD’s vibrant industry-academia ecosystem, the Successful Tenderer will be expected to offer internship opportunities to students enrolled in the Singapore Institute of Technology’s hospitality programme.
The Successful Tenderer will be granted a 60-year lease and must fit out the bare core and shell property at their own cost. They may operate the development directly or appoint a reputable hospitality brand to manage the property.
