Vidacity, Southeast Asia's dedicated sustainability innovation hub, has officially launched
Vidacity @ One-North, a new hub at JTC's LaunchPad @ One-North, located at 69 Ayer Rajah Crescent, designed to help startups and research-driven ventures move beyond early conversations and into real-world testing, pilot deployment, and commercial growth in Singapore.

The new site builds on Vidacity's first location in Pasir Ris, where it has facilitated 30 collaborations and pilots over the past two years. At One-North, the over 32,000 sq ft site is launching fully occupied with four tenant partners, aside from a ground floor unit reserved for pop-up brand activations and innovation spotlights. Over the next five years, Vidacity expects to support up to 200 additional companies and facilitate 80 pilot deployments across its focus sectors.

The launch, officiated by Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, comes as startups place increasing importance on early deployment opportunities and clearer routes to commercial growth. While innovation activity remains strong, many founders continue to face challenges in accessing the right environments to test solutions, engage industry partners, and build the validation needed for wider adoption. Vidacity @ One-North has been established to help meet this need, particularly for companies working in agrifood, the built environment, and energy solutions.

Vidacity @ One-North is the latest development under the reimagined LaunchPad, first announced at MTI's Committee of Supply in March 2026, along with Kampong AI, Singapore's Hub and Home for AI. This also builds on a series of new partnerships and startup-friendly policies subsequently announced by Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development Alvin Tan at the LaunchPad Reimagined Carnival on 25 March 2026, where he unveiled the refreshed The Meeting Point, an event and community space at LaunchPad @ One-North.

"More than encouragement and networking, founders ultimately need real places to test, real partners to work with, and a clearer route from early validation to actual deployment. Vidacity @ One-North is meant to be useful in that very practical sense. We want startups, enterprises, and research-driven ventures to be able to come here and find the right conversations, the right partners and the right opportunities to move forward," said Zac Toh, Founder & Director, Vidacity.

New partnerships across deployment, referrals, and commercialisation

Central to the launch is a set of partnerships designed to strengthen different parts of the pathway from early innovation to real-world adoption.

The partnership with A*STAR's Urban Solutions & Sustainability Innovation & Enterprise Office (USS IEO) aims to create clearer pathways for research spin-offs and emerging ventures from Singapore's research and innovation ecosystem to access market validation opportunities, industry connections, and venture-building support. Under the collaboration, suitable startups may be connected into Vidacity programmes such as VidaCircle and VidaCapital Academy, and supported in pursuing pilot opportunities and early commercial engagements.

With JTC, Vidacity will work on proof-of-concept opportunities and startup engagements across LaunchPad @ One-North and Punggol Digital District. LaunchPad's startups will gain access to Vidacity's network of innovation spaces and platforms in Singapore and the region, allowing them to pilot solutions in both local and overseas markets. Beyond deployment, the collaboration will connect startups with corporates, investors, and ecosystem partners across JTC's and Vidacity's networks, opening up pathways for cross-border scaling.

With ACE.SG, the focus is on strengthening founder referrals, joint programmes, and ecosystem connectivity at LaunchPad @ One-North and across Singapore's startup landscape. In practical terms, that means startups in either network can be connected more intentionally to the spaces, programmes, and opportunities that best fit their stage and needs, while both organisations work together on events and community-building activities. The partnership also builds on ACE.SG's role as operator of Stage One at LaunchPad @ One-North.

Vidacity is also planning to launch a new AI for Impact series with strategic partners. The initiative is meant to spotlight responsible AI solutions tied to practical industry and sustainability challenges, while also creating a shared space for sustainability and AI practitioners to collaborate more closely.

Beyond the partnerships, the site is designed as a multi-tenant ecosystem. This includes Stage One, which supports startups in areas such as setup, advisory, capability-building and market access; VNTR Kitchen, which will serve as a casual community space for founders and teams; N9 Offices, which provides flexible workspace options; and the Lorong AI shared space on Level 3.
